On the 29th of March 1919, the first projectile of the restored Lithuanian Army artillery was fired into the building of Deltuva’s old parsonage, where the headquarters of the Bolshevik army unit was at that time. It did not explode but left a mark on the wall of the building and printed the name of Deltuva into the history of artillery of the Lithuanian Army.
